GET YOUR RAILWAY TICKETS BOOKED FROM ANYWHERE

I think most of the people planning to travel in INDIA might want to travel in train at least once.If you want to travel by train try to plan it early cause the tickets may get over soon.The booking of tickets starts 60 days before the departure date of the respective train.
You can get your tickets booked using irctc.co.in for that first you need to sign up for their account.
HERE ARE SOME TIPS(NOT FOR INDIAN RESIDENTS) :
1.Fill in the mobile number without the country code in the form.
2.Mail the scanned copy of your passport along with irctc user ID that will be filled by you in the form to care@irctc.co.in
NOTE : The scanned copy should be sent as an attachment and must not exceed 1 MB in size.
3.Then a verification code will be given to your registered mail id use it to activate your irctc account .
NOTE : IRCTC accepts only American Express cards for ticket bookings.

JAIPUR BUS STAND TO RAILWAY STATION

Jaipur's bus stand also called as SINDHI CAMP is very near to the railway station.The distance between bus stand and railway station is only about 3 kilometers i.e. around 1.8 miles.You can easily find a shared auto rickshaw or cycle rickshaw.The shared auto rickshaw is likely to cost you 10 INR or 20 cents and cycle rickshaw may cost you 20 INR or 40 cents.Hiring a auto might cost you around 40 INR or 70 cents.

JAIPUR RAILWAY STATION TO AIRPORT

Jaipur railway station is the headquarters of North Western Railways.Jaipur's airport is SAWAI MANSINGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Previously there were different airports for international and domestic flights but due to maintenance work at the international airport all flights are scheduled from domestic airport.
The distance between railway station and airport is about 12 km . It is better to get an auto rickshaw from railway station to airport because there are no direct buses from railway station to airport .The auto rickshaw might charge you around 120 INR i.e. around 2.5 USD.

JAIPUR BUS STAND TO AIRPORT

The bus stand of Jaipur is called SINDHI CAMP and airport is SAWAI MANSINGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT . Previously there were different airports for international and domestic flights but due to maintenance work at the international airport all flights are scheduled from domestic airport.
The distance between bus stand and airport is about 14 km . It is better to get a auto rickshaw from bus stand to airport because there are no direct buses from bus stand to airport .The auto rickshaw might charge you around 150 INR i.e. around 3 USD.
